The Mount to Coast R1 is a shoe that fulfills our promise of a lightweight, correct fit and hyper-durable product that an environmentally conscious consumer can depend on.

The durability and light airy feel comes from the dual density midsole. The bottom layer is a higher energy return PEBA Hybrid foam that is 45% lighter than traditional EVA while being 50% bouncier. The problem with traditional PEBA foams is that they pack out over time. To prevent the shoe from packing out quickly they placed Zero Sag Urethane piece that run from underneath the midfoot to the forefoot toe off areas. This Zero Sag technology provides increased density and thus durability to the Supercritical PEBA foam.
