Engineered Garments is collaborating with Paraboot for the third year in a row. With a well-deserved reputation for footwear par excellence, Paraboot's shoes endure both physically and aesthetically. One of their most recognisable and iconic silhouettes, the Chambord, is named for the castle in the Loire region of France and is loosely based on the moccasin style.

Engineered Garments' Daiki Suzuki's revisiting of this iconic golf shoe for this collaboration, has drawn his inspiration from the old Chamonix mountain boot, one of which he unearthed. The buckle and strap are reminiscent of vintage ski boots. Its features follow a heavy-duty Suportlo grained leather from the Degermann tanneries and waterproof Norwegian welting on a natural rubber notched Jannu sole - built to provide both comfort and functionality. The location of the buckle means that it can be used with or without laces, emulating monk strap shoes. Its five eyelet lacing system ensures a secure fit. A smooth welt and strap, gives this stylish city derby a very contemporary look, along with its distinctive apron toe and rounded last add a touch of continental charm that works as well with both tailoring and casual-wear.

※ Please note, due to the use of natural fats, oils and waxes in the tanning process of Paraboot’s footwear, a white haze or ‘bloom’ can appear on the surface of the leather after storage. This can be brushed back into the leather with a shoe brush.
